Spine sunned, two small losses to cloth at head of spine, contents clean and bright; together with a second copy of CLARKE, KIT. The Practical Angler. New York: American News Company, 1892. First edition. Publisher's pictorial paper wrapper. 6 3/4 x 4 1/2 inches; 207 pp., [14] pp. of advertisements, frontispiece, plates and tailpiece. Wrapper lightly browned and worn at extremities, three small chips to lower wrapper.
Two copies of Kit Clarke's instructional book on salt and freshwater angling, bound in different styles of the publisher's bindings, one with ornate patterned cloth and the other in the lowly (but scarce) paper wrappers.
