Publisher's printed, gilt and embossed paper. 6 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches; 60 pp.; twelve tipped-in photographs. Rubbing, soiling and wear to boards, corners bumped, loss to paper at head of spine, contents fresh and bright.
A photographically illustrated eyewitness account of a Ceylonese elephant kraal - a tradition where wild elephants are driven into an enclosure in order to be captured and, eventually, tamed. WorldCat locates only one copy of this book, held at the University of Virginia.
