Washington: GPO, mid 19th century. Mostly disbound pamphlets, two in marbled wrappers, one in later boards. Some with remants of binding, spotting and minor stains, but generally clean, contains a few duplicates. Includes: Report of the Committee on Indian Affairs, to which was referred so much of the Message of the President of the United States as relates to the Indians in Florida. Washington: 21 February 1823. 8 pp., in later marbled wrappers, very good but with a few minor chips to edges, a rare report offering a history and discussion of the Seminole in Florida; two copies of Report of the Secretary of War ... calling for a list of the Creek Indians killed, wounded or died in the Service of the United States during the late war in Florida. Washington: 15 June 1848. One copy in marbled wrappers, possibly original, the other disbound, both with the folding chart, tape repair to the first copy; Message of the President ... relative to the internal feuds among the Cherokees. Washington: 13 April 1846. 224 pp.; Memorial of the Legislature of Alabama on behalf of ... the Creek Indians, praying for assistance from the Government. Washington: 15 February 1832. 22d Congress, 1st Session. Later boards; five copies of Message of the President ... Communicating Copies of Correspondence with the Government of Mexico, in Relation to the Expulsion of Citizens of the United States from Upper California. Washington: 14 July 1844, one copy stained; Report of the Secretary of War communicating information in relation to the contracts made for the removal and subsistence of the Choctaw Indians. Washington: 7 February 1845; and others through the 1890s.
