Two Japanese Fuchi-Kashira
19th Century
One worked in shakudo and nanako, the fuchi decorated with children's toys, a drum, stick with clappers on cords, monkey and a noh dancer on a stick, each in taka-bori of shakudo, gold, silver and copper with gold inlay, the kashira with a mask of karashishi in taka-bori of bronze, shakudo and gold, gold hiro-zogan, signed Eisen Okamura; the other worked in shibuichi ishime, both pieces with dragons in taka-bori of shibuichi and gold. Lengths 1 1/2 inches.
