Baltic Neoclassical Brass-Mounted Mahogany Chest of Drawers on Stand
Possibly Russian, late 18th/early 19th century
In two parts, the stepped upper section with bowfronted top above a conforming case fitted with a compartmentalized frieze drawer over five drawers with ribbed panel dividers and flanking ribbed stiles, the stand with central stepped ribbed panel and raised on bracket feet. Height 49 1/2 inches (1.25 m), width 39 inches (99.1 cm). depth 22 1/2 inches (57.2 cm).
