Chinese Longquan Celadon Ewer and Cover
Yuan-Ming Dynasty
The tall slender shape set on a high foot, with a long spout and curved handle opposite the neck rising to a cupped mouth in which the lid sits, the lid with a crescent finial, each side with a cartouche of auspicious symbols around a central roundel, all under the olive green glaze. Height 8 1/2 inches.
