Additional Notes & Condition Report
Shade: there are numerous individual glass segments that have hairline cracks; the shade is now "out-of-round;" the leading is green patinated on the underside; the leading is black-colored on the top outside which suggests the original green patina, if once there, is now worn or rubbed off; no apparent evidence of glass replacement on obvious solder repairs; no heat cap; shade is somewhat "loose" when put in to place on the three arm supports (slightly ill fitting).
Base: now missing all four of its original bun feet; consequently, the lamp base now sits on the wire cord and does not sit flush on the table surface (it rocks because of the wire cords); appears to retain its original three light sockets; the three sockets; the patina is a nice mottled green and chocolate brown coloration; the lamp feels light for its size, i.e., it is hollow except in the wire cord, it may originally have been somewhat weighted; the patina is is worn rather heavily in some areas, consistent with age, usage, and handling; there are some areas with spot discoloration to the patina, possibly old flake losses; many raised elliptical and teardrop-shaped protrusions on the bulbous protrusion of the base have dings and dents, some of which are quite large; lamps has been rewired; sockets not tested.
