Rectangular, the left side depicting St. Anna reclining on a bed, assisted by two maids, above the infant Mary being bathed by two midwives, flanked to the lower right by St. Anna, St. Joachim and the infant Mary seated together, all against an architectural background. Height 12 1/2 inches (31.75 cm.), width 10 1/2 inches (26.7 cm.).
