[TELEVISION] TV Guide. Complete Program Listings--April 3-9.
Philadelphia: Triangle Publications, 1953. First issue of the periodical, the Pennsylvania edition. Wrappers of issue, depicting Lucille Ball and her baby. 8 1/4 x 5 1/8 (20.75 x 13.35 cm); 24 pp. (including covers, plus 32 pp. of regionally specific content. A rather bright, fresh copy, with the original mailing label, the text paper generally clean and bright, but two leaves with a neat clean tear into the text, the corners still adhering in the upper margin.

A cultural landmark, the first separately published TV listings, the Guide was a staple of popular culture, printed until 2008. Despite the defect noted, an unusually clean copy.
