The bentwood swing handle above the oval basket with hinged lid centering a carved ebony whale, ebony toggle, solid oval wood bottom with the maker's name and an outline of the island, further lettered "MADE IN NANTUCKET." Height to top of handle 10 3/4 inches, width 7 inches, depth 5 1/2 inches.
