New York: The Derrydale Press, [1937]. The De Luxe edition, number 22 of 40 copies signed by the author on an inserted leaf and accompanied by a separate matching case containing 14 card mounts (2 displaying salmon hooks and leaders; 12 displaying 14 complete flies and their components, tied by C. Farlow of London to Phair's specifications). The text and case in three-quarters morocco gilt by MacDonald, the spines tooled and lettered in gilt, marbled endpapers. 12 x 9 1/4 inches (32 x 24 cm); 193 pp., plates; plates. The boards and case rubbed and with a few scratches and shelfwear, light spotting to text and some foxing to mounts in case.

A spectacular display of flies in the rare deluxe edition of Phair's Atlantic Salmon Fishing, one of just forty copies assembled. This desirable edition is infrequent at auction. Litchfield 94; Siegel 139.
